A fine cuff type compound microscope in the original box c 1765. The vertical 27 cm sleeved cuff-type pillar with integral 65 mm scroll handle and 50 mm gimballed plano-concave mirror, combined with the tri-form stage (11×75 mm with 30 mm aperture) engraved in copper-plate script H.Shuttleworth, Ludgate Street, London. With the original lenses numbered 1-6, 48 x 32 mm features an integral condensing lens; live-box 37 mm; fish plate 90 mm. In good condition and size box 48 x 20 x 19 c
